Hardlines started on a small farm in Slovenia. My sister had a knack for making natural remedies with fresh ingredients from the land. One day, she made a calendula balm for skin recovery, and it worked wonders. The whole family used it for years.

Then one day, after a chat with my partner, we realized this balm could be perfect for tattoo aftercare. It clicked. We could do something simple, natural, and effective.

So we got to work. Harvesting olives, cold-pressing our own oil, picking calendula flowers, and annoying the neighbor just enough to score some beeswax from his hives. Then a few more ingredients to round it out, and we had our balm. That’s how MULJ Tattoo Aftercare came to life.

Eventually, we moved to Australia and kept it going. Hardlines is what came from that, the same natural, simple approach, just reworked for a new environment.
